You should attend an 'Inside the MBA' event if you are considering the possibility of getting an MBA in the future -or- if you've already begun exploring various MBA programs and preparing applications -or- if you've already been admitted and are determining where to enroll. The format is designed to provide information to prospective MBA students at every step along the way.
Events begin at 6:30 pm. The first 15-20 minutes allow for arrival of prospective students and introductions of school representatives. Just over 1.5 hours is dedicated to allowing participants to meet school representatives at their individual booths and gather information specific to that school. The event ends at 8:30 pm.
The intimate setting of Inside the MBA events is appealing as you can enjoy beverages and hors d'oeuvres while exploring the unique offerings of schools. We begin the event by partaking in food and drinks and by introducing school representatives. We dedicate a significant amount of time to a "school fair" format where participants can gain insights from experienced admissions professionals. Also, alumni, and sometimes current students, are available to speak about the student experience, job search, value of the MBA, etc.
Most participants wear business casual attire.
There is no fee to attend an 'Inside the MBA' event. And light refreshments will be available.
Advanced registration is really appreciated, since it will allow us to anticipate how many people will be at any given event. It also provides a way for you to let any member schools know you're interested in their MBA programs before you meet their representatives at the event.
